You ask yourself, How can the ministry do this and is it legal ? Well cannabis/marijuana will never be legal for anyone("just tolerated") until the federal government reschedules it from a schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance. Some states have adopted medical cannabis/marijuana laws, and some churches have endorsed medical cannabis/marijuana but this does not make it legal on the federal level, there are even churches, ministries, tribes and other religious/spiritual organizations that utilize several schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance as a religious/spiritual sacramental substance, so yes then cannabis/marijuana is tolerated, but still not legal for any purpose according to the federal government. SO BY GATHERING THE FOUR:20 COMMUNITY TO JOIN THE FOUR:20 MINISTRY, MAKES MARIJUANA ALL THAT MORE TOLERABLE.....

The F:20 ministry is accepting application for membership for all persons 18 years of age and older, also world wide. In the United States of America the states that have adopted a medical marijuana law like California, the Four:20 Ministry picture ID would be the same as having a medical marijuana card from a doctor and/or state health department.

There are other sacramental substance churches, ministries out there, that are claiming that marijuana is legal, but they are fighting marijuana legal cases. All require a nominal donation to be a member and claim as a member marijuana is legal, "wrong". It is just tolerated, not legal. The Four:20 Ministry is a multi-denominational organization formed of members from the four:20 community to spread the message of legalize cannabis/marijuana and eradicate the religious/spiritual persecution of the four:20 community. So stand up and join the ministry NOW! Utilize our sacramental substance of choice(cannabis/marijuana).

On February 21st 2006 the Supreme Court was presented with the question: Whether the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993, 42 U.S.C. 2000bb et seq., requires all government agencies to permit the importation, distribution, possession, cultivation, and use of a Schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance, where Congress has found that the substance has a high potential for abuse, also that it is unsafe for use even under medical supervision, and its importation and distribution would violate an international treaty.

Marijuana is a Schedule I hallucinogenic controlled substance and that Supreme Court ruled on that day that religious freedom was more important that the drug laws. The case is called,Gonzales vs. O Centro Espirita Beneficiente Uniao do Vegetal and the Supreme Court ruled in a unanimous decision (8-0).
